The 6 kA / 15 kA split matters: if the prospective short-circuit current at the panelboard is above 6 kA but under 15 kA, the 5SY6313-6 still clears the fault without upstream coordination issues, provided the installation follows IEC 60947-2. In a UL 1077 supplementary-protector role, the 5 kA limit applies; do not use it as a branch-circuit main without verifying the available fault current. The quick-assembly fastening method and any mounting position give panel builders layout flexibility. Combined top and bottom terminals simplify daisy-chaining busbars.
