What it is and what it does
The Fuji FRN0059G2S-2GU is a FRENIC-Eco series variable frequency drive rated for 20 hp output at 60 A, fed from a 200-240V AC three-phase input. It's an open-style (NEMA 1) drive meant for panel mounting, with a heat sink that needs free air movement around it. The 0.1 to 120 Hz output frequency range covers most constant-torque and variable-torque HVAC fan and pump applications, and the 50% starting torque at 1 Hz means it'll get a load moving without a lot of fiddling with boost parameters.
Key ratings and what they mean for fit
The 60 A maximum output current at 230V AC is the hard limit for continuous motor load; sizing to that number rather than the horsepower rating keeps the IGBT junction temps in check during a full-load run. Input voltage tolerance of +10% / -15% on the 200-240V AC nominal means it'll ride through a sag down to 170V AC without dropping out — useful on a plant bus with big motor starts. The NEMA 1 enclosure is finger-safe but not sealed; keep it indoors, away from washdown or dust.
Integration notes
Mounting dimensions are 15-3/4 in high by 9-7/8 in wide by 8-1/2 in deep — plan for a backplate that clears the heat sink fins on the rear. The 7 digital inputs and 3 analog inputs give enough I/O for a basic speed reference and start/stop from a remote contact without an expansion card. No Ethernet port on this variant, so plan for a serial or analog link to the PLC unless you add a comms option. The LCD/LED display shows output frequency, current, voltage, and fault codes in plain text — no laptop needed for a quick status check at startup.
