Drive sizing and fit
The Fuji FRN0139G2S-4GU is a FRENIC-Eco series variable frequency drive rated for 75 hp (105 A continuous output) on a 380–480 V AC three-phase supply, ±10%/-15%. That 105 A figure is the full-load ampacity — sized for a 75 hp motor at 460 V, but the drive's output current is what governs the motor match, not the horsepower label. Output frequency spans 0.1 to 120 Hz, with 50% starting torque at 1 Hz, enough for breakaway on fan and centrifugal pump loads. Enclosure is NEMA 1 (open drip-proof, indoor use), so it needs clean, dry panel space — not a washdown environment. The open style with an integral heat sink means it relies on the cabinet's own airflow; don't box it into a sealed enclosure without forced ventilation. Dimensions are 21-3/4 in high by 14 in wide by 10-5/8 in deep — that's a full-size drive, not a compact shoe-box.
Protection and compliance
Built-in protection covers drive thermal overload, motor thermal overload, overvoltage, undervoltage, phase failure, phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground short circuit, and over-braking. No brake chopper is included internally — if you need dynamic braking for overhauling loads, plan for an external chopper and resistor. The drive carries UL 508C, CSA C22.2 No.14, and EN 50178-1997 approvals, so it's accepted in North American and European industrial panels without a separate evaluation.
I/O and control
Control is via keypad or remote contacts. The drive has 7 digital inputs, 3 analog inputs, 5 digital outputs, and 2 analog outputs — enough for basic speed reference, start/stop, and status feedback without an expansion card. The LCD/LED display shows motor speed, alarm codes, function codes, output frequency, output current, and output voltage. No Ethernet port is onboard; if you need fieldbus, you'll add an option card.
