Drive for pump and fan loads
The FRN300F1S-4DY is a Fuji Electric FRENIC-ECO Pump (F1-DY) series drive rated for 300 HP on a 460 V three-phase supply. It is sized for variable-torque applications such as centrifugal pumps and fans, where the load torque follows the square of the speed.
The 300 HP / 460 V rating governs the motor frame size it can handle — expect a NEMA 449T or similar frame. The F1-DY variant is specifically configured for pump duty, with built-in PID control for pressure or flow regulation, so it saves an external controller in a water/wastewater or HVAC skid.
