What the 50ms sampling means for your process
A 50ms sampling rate updates the PID loop 20 times per second. For a molding cell running a 15-second cycle, that gives 300 temperature readings per shot — enough to hold the zone within a tight window and keep every shot the same. Slower controllers (200–500ms) can let hot spots develop between updates, especially on thin-wall parts where the mold temperature swings fast.
The 48 x 48mm cutout (1/16 DIN) is the standard panel-mount size for temperature controllers across most brands. Mounting bracket clips into the panel from the front; no DIN rail required.
