The PXF4ABA2-MV1A1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48 mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed.
The 50 ms sampling speed updates the output every 50 milliseconds, adequate for standard PID loops. Self-tuning (auto-tune) lets the controller characterize the thermal load on first run and set its own PID gains. For a panel builder commissioning a line, that saves the manual Ziegler-Nichols step — just let it cycle once and it locks in.
Panel fit — 1/16 DIN cutout
1/16 DIN (48 x 48 mm) panel cutout is the standard small controller footprint — fits the same hole as most Fuji PXF, Omron E5CC, or Watlow 1/16 DIN units. If you're replacing an older controller, check the depth clearance behind the panel; this unit is compact but still needs about 100 mm behind the bezel.
