What this controller does and why the 50 ms sampling matters
The PXF4ABU2-GVYA1: The universal input accepts thermocouple, RTD, or DC voltage signals, and is backwards-wiring-compatible with the earlier PXR/W/Z series — a swap-in consideration if you're replacing an older controller without re-terminating the field wiring. Control output is a single SPDT relay contact, rated for on/off or time-proportional PID drive to a contactor or solid-state relay. Two alarm outputs are available for high/low process deviation or absolute setpoint limits.
Power supply and programming
Powered from standard line voltage (100-240 V AC, 50/60 Hz) — no separate 24 V DC supply needed. The controller is pre-configured with North American Code programming, so the default input type, scale, and alarm logic follow the common US convention. If your panel uses metric or European defaults, expect to step through the configuration menu on first power-up.
