The PXF4ABY2-MVJA1 is a Series PXF 1/16 DIN temperature and process controller in a 48x48mm front-panel format. It runs a 50ms sampling loop with self-tuning, which means it settles a process variable faster than a fixed-PID controller on a line with changing thermal loads — useful on packaging or heat-seal stations where the product mix shifts. Power supply is standard 100-240V AC, 50/60Hz. Control output 1 is a relay SPDT contact — rated for direct switching of small contactors or solenoids. Three alarm points cover deviation, absolute, or band alarms on the same process variable. Built-in RS485 communications (Modbus RTU by default on this series) plus a CT input for heater-break detection. Programming is set for North American code — the unit ships with Fahrenheit scaling and the alarm logic configured for typical US panel conventions.
1/16 DIN cutout (45x45mm panel hole). The 48x48mm bezel fits standard DIN rail mounting adapters or a gasket-sealed panel mount. Depth behind the panel is tight enough for a shallow enclosure — no extra clearance needed beyond the terminal block projection. Relay output is SPDT, so one common and two switched terminals. Wire the normally-open side for on/off control; the normally-closed side can drive an alarm indicator or a backup contactor. The CT input shares the same terminal block — verify the CT is the correct burden for your heater current.
