Controller profile for the BOM line
The PXF4ACA2-FBMA1 is a current-production 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller from Fuji Electric's PXF series. Its self-tuning algorithm and 50ms sampling speed make it suited for closed-loop control of thermal processes where the load dynamics change — think injection molding barrel zones, packaging seal bars, or reflow oven profiles where a fixed PID tune would drift out of spec over a shift.
The 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) panel cutout is the standard small-footprint size for single-loop controllers. If your panel is already punched for a 1/16 DIN controller, this drops in without rework. The 50ms sampling speed means it reads the input and updates the output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal loops (ovens, furnaces, extruders) but not intended for millisecond-level events like pressure spikes or flow transients. Self-tuning means the controller automatically calculates PID parameters during startup or a process upset, reducing commissioning time compared to manually entering P, I, and D values.
