What it is and what it does
The Fuji Electric PXF4ACE2-FBMA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That sampling rate matters: it catches fast thermal transients in processes like injection molding or extrusion where a standard 100ms or 200ms controller would lag behind the actual temperature curve. The self-tuning algorithm auto-adjusts PID parameters on startup, so you don't need a separate autotune cycle — useful when a line changeover means a new thermal load.
Panel fit and integration
The 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) cutout is the standard panel-mount footprint — fits the same hole as any other 1/16 DIN controller, so swapping an older unit into an existing panel requires no rework of the cutout. Depth is typical for this class; allow clearance behind the panel for the terminal block and wiring. The 50ms sampling speed means the controller updates the display and output at that rate, so the loop response is limited by the process, not the controller.
