A 50ms sampling speed means the controller updates its output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal processes (ovens, extruder zones, packaging seal bars) but not for sub-second events like injection-mold cavity pressure. For a 1/16 DIN panel cutout, it fits where space is tight and you don't want to re-cut the panel.
