What this controller is and what the ratings mean
The PXF4ACP2-FVJA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48×48mm) compact temperature and process controller from Fuji Electric's PXF series, sampling at 50 ms — fast enough for thermal loops on injection molding barrels, packaging seal bars, and reflow ovens where overshoot costs scrap. The 50 ms sampling speed means the controller reads the process variable and updates its output every 50 milliseconds. For a plastic extruder zone or a diffusion furnace, that keeps the PID loop tight enough to hold setpoint within a fraction of a degree under steady load. A slower 250 ms controller would let temperature drift further between updates. The 1/16 DIN (48×48mm) panel cutout is the smallest standard DIN size. It fits a 45×45mm panel hole with the mounting bracket — common on multi-zone machines where panel space is tight. A 1/8 DIN (48×96mm) controller would need nearly twice the vertical space.
