Controller profile
The Fuji Electric PXF4ACP2-MBMA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48 mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. This puts it in the fast-loop class for applications like injection molding barrel zones, packaging seal bars, or small furnace zones where the process variable changes quickly and standard 250 ms controllers lag behind. The 1/16 DIN panel cutout (45 x 45 mm) is the smallest standard form factor, so it fits tight panel layouts where every millimeter counts.
Panel integration note
The 48 x 48 mm DIN form factor uses the standard 45 x 45 mm panel cutout. Depth behind the panel is compact enough for shallow enclosures, but verify clearance for the terminal block and any option cards if the controller sits behind a door or near a busbar. The 50 ms sampling speed means the controller processes the input and updates the output faster than most PLC analog cards — useful when the loop is tuned tight and the plant floor expects immediate response to a setpoint change.
