What the 50ms sampling means for your loop
The 50ms sampling speed means the controller updates its control output every 50 milliseconds. For a temperature loop on a plastic extruder barrel or a reflow oven zone, that rate catches thermal transients fast enough to prevent overshoot on the next PID cycle. Slower controllers (100–200 ms) let the process drift further before the algorithm corrects; here the correction arrives within two mains cycles at 50 Hz.
Panel fit and integration
The 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) cutout is the standard panel-mount footprint for temperature controllers worldwide. It drops into the same panel hole as any other 1/16 DIN unit — no adapter plate needed. The self-tuning algorithm means you can skip manual PID tuning on most thermal loads; the controller identifies the process characteristics during startup and sets the gains automatically.
