What this controller is and what the 50ms sampling means for your loop
The Fuji PXF4ACS2-0B1A1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That 50ms sampling rate means it updates the control output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal processes like injection molding, packaging seal bars, or reflow ovens where the time constant is measured in seconds, not milliseconds. It is not a high-speed process controller for pressure or flow loops that need sub-millisecond response; it is sized and timed for temperature and slower process variables where self-tuning PID saves the integrator time during commissioning.
Panel fit and integration notes
The 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) panel cutout is the standard small-controller footprint. The controller is self-tuning out of the box, which reduces the time spent manually tuning PID parameters during startup. The 50ms sampling speed is the update rate of the control algorithm — it is not the input filter time constant, so expect to set a digital filter on the input if the thermocouple or RTD signal is electrically noisy.
