What this controller is and what it does
The Fuji Electric PXF4ACY2-JVMA1 is a 1/16 DIN (48 x 48 mm) panel-mount temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed and self-tuning capability.
The 50 ms sampling rate means the loop updates every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal processes (ovens, extruders, packaging seal bars) without overshoot hunting. Self-tuning automates PID gain scheduling on startup, which saves commissioning time on a multi-zone line.
The 1/16 DIN form factor (48 x 48 mm) fits a standard panel cutout — no adapter frame needed for a DIN-rail enclosure gland plate. Plan for the depth behind the panel when laying out the backplane.
