The Fuji Electric PXF4ACY2-JVVA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. It's a current-production part, so it's still a standard line item for new panels and replacement spares alike.
What the 50 ms sampling means on the line
The 50 ms sampling rate means this controller updates its input and recalculates the output every 50 milliseconds. For a temperature loop on a plastic extruder barrel or a reflow oven zone, that's fast enough to catch thermal overshoot and hold a tight deadband. Slower controllers (100–250 ms) let the process wander before the PID corrects; at 50 ms the PXF4ACY2-JVVA1 stays ahead of the thermal lag in most electric-heated loads.
Panel fit and mounting
The 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) cutout is the standard panel-mount footprint for temperature controllers. It clips into the panel from the front with the supplied gasket and retaining bracket — no DIN rail, no sub-panel. If you're replacing an older 1/16 DIN controller from another brand, the cutout and the wiring footprint should match; just verify the pinout on the rear screw terminals against your existing harness.
