Panel fit and signal integrity
The PXF4AEA2-0BKA1: The 1/16 DIN cutout (45 x 45 mm) is the standard panel-mount footprint for temperature controllers — slots into the same hole as every other 1/16 DIN unit you've got in the panel. At 48 x 48 mm bezel, it leaves room for a gloved finger to hit the front-panel keys without crowding adjacent controllers. The 50 ms sampling is fast enough for most process loops, but if you're chasing noise on a thermocouple run, check the shield first — the controller can only correct what it sees.
