The Fuji Electric PXF4AEA2-JVKA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48 mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed.
The 1/16 DIN form factor (48 x 48 mm) fits standard panel cutouts, making it a direct drop-in for existing controller slots or new builds where panel space is tight. A 50 ms sampling speed means the controller updates its reading and output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal processes like extrusion, packaging seal bars, and oven zones, but not for sub-second thermal events where a faster (10 ms) controller would be needed. Self-tuning automates PID parameter adjustment on startup, reducing commissioning time on processes with known thermal behavior.
