Controller fit and sampling speed
The Fuji Electric PXF4AEC2-0VSA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller. Its 50ms sampling speed means the loop updates every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal processes like extrusion barrel zones, packaging seal bars, or reflow ovens where you need to catch a temperature excursion before it overshoots the setpoint by more than a degree or two. The self-tuning algorithm auto-calculates PID constants on the first ramp, so you don't have to sit through a Ziegler-Nichols cycle on every new tool.
The 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) panel cutout is the standard small-controller footprint — fits the same hole as most Fuji PXF and competing 1/16 DIN units. Depth behind the panel is typically around 100mm including the terminal block; verify clearance against your enclosure door or backplane. The controller is self-powered from the loop or auxiliary supply per the wiring diagram; no separate power module needed for the 50ms sampling rate.
