The PXF4APE2-0V1A1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48 mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. That 50 ms sample rate means it catches fast thermal transients in processes like injection molding or small furnace zones where a standard 100–200 ms controller would lag behind the actual temperature curve. The self-tuning algorithm adjusts PID parameters during operation, so commissioning time drops — no manual step-response tuning for most loops.
The 1/16 DIN (48 x 48 mm) cutout matches the standard panel-mount footprint used across the PXF series. Depth behind the panel is consistent with the family, so existing cutouts and wiring harnesses carry over without rework. The 50 ms sampling speed places a modest processing load on the internal micro — no special ventilation or derating required for normal ambient conditions.
