What it is and what the ratings mean
The PXF4APP2-FBSA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That 50ms sampling rate means it reads the process variable and updates the output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal loops (ovens, extruders, packaging seal bars) where a 100ms-plus update would let temperature overshoot on a fast-responding heater. The 1/16 DIN panel cutout (48 x 48mm) is the standard footprint for a single-loop controller; it drops into any existing panel hole without adapter plates.
