The Fuji Electric PXF4APR2-MVVA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That 50ms sampling rate means it catches fast thermal transients — think injection molding nozzle temperature or thin-film extrusion where a standard 250ms controller would let the process overshoot before the PID loop corrects. The self-tuning algorithm maps the process response curve on startup, so you don't need to manually calculate P, I, and D gains for each zone.
Panel fit and deployment context
The 48 x 48mm 1/16 DIN cutout is the standard panel-mount size for temperature controllers across the industry — it drops into the same hole as any other 1/16 DIN unit. Mounting depth and terminal layout are consistent with the PXF series; no panel rework needed if replacing an older Fuji or a competitive 1/16 DIN controller in the same cutout.
