The PXF4APS2-FBKA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed. That 50ms cycle time means it catches fast thermal transients — think injection mold cavity temperature or a thin-film extrusion line where a slow loop would overshoot and scrap the first few meters. Self-tuning gets the PID coefficients close without a manual step-test; for a panel builder wiring up a dozen zones, that's one less commissioning headache per loop.
Panel fit and integration notes
1/16 DIN cutout (45 x 45mm panel hole) is the standard footprint for this class — fits the same punch as every other 1/16 DIN controller on the market. The 48 x 48mm bezel is a direct swap into existing panel cutouts if you're replacing an older unit. No special DIN-rail adapter needed; it's a panel-mount controller with the usual spring-clip retention.
