The Fuji Electric PXF4APS2-FVMA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. That 50 ms loop rate means it can track fast thermal transients — think injection molding nozzle zones, small reflow ovens, or packaging seal bars where a standard 250 ms controller would let the temperature overshoot before the PID corrects. The self-tuning algorithm auto-sets P, I, and D gains on startup, so you don't need a laptop to commission it on a simple oven or bath.
The 1/16 DIN cutout (45 x 45 mm) is the standard panel-mount footprint for this class — fits the same hole as every other 1/16 DIN controller, so no panel rework if you're swapping from another brand. Depth behind the panel is typical for a compact controller; allow clearance for the screw-terminal block and any option cards. The 50 ms sampling is fixed — no dip-switch to slow it down — so the loop update is deterministic for the control engineer.
