Controller for tight process loops
The PXF4APS2-JVVA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48 mm) compact temperature and process controller. The 50 ms sampling speed means it catches fast thermal transients — useful on a hot-strip mill where the pyrometer sees a new billet edge every few seconds and the controller has to respond before the strip cools through the finishing stand. The self-tuning algorithm sets PID gains automatically on startup, so you are not spending a shift manually bump-testing a loop that has to hold strip tension.
Panel fit
The 1/16 DIN cutout (48 x 48 mm) is the standard panel-mount footprint for temperature controllers. Depth behind the panel is tight enough for a shallow enclosure; no DIN-rail adapter needed. The self-tuning loop and the 50 ms sampling rate are set via the front-panel menu — no software download required for basic operation.
