The Fuji Electric PXF4APS2-MBKA1 is a self-tuning 1/16 DIN (48 x 48 mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. That sampling rate means it can track fast thermal transients — useful on injection-molding nozzles, small extrusion zones, or packaging seal bars where a standard 250 ms controller would lag the process.
Where it fits in a panel
The 1/16 DIN (48 x 48 mm) cutout is the standard panel-mount footprint for compact controllers. It clips into the panel from the front, secured by the supplied mounting bracket — no DIN rail required. The 50 ms sampling speed is the key selection parameter: if your process has a thermal time constant under a few seconds, this controller keeps up; for slow ovens or large baths, a 250 ms controller would also work, but the self-tuning algorithm here will converge faster on the smaller loop.
