What this controller is and what it does
The Fuji Electric PXF4NBU2-4VYA1 is a 1/16 DIN (48x48mm) compact temperature and process controller from the PXF series, with a 50ms sampling speed that catches fast thermal transients in processes like injection molding or packaging seal bars. Its universal input accepts RTD or mA signals and is backwards-compatible with wiring to earlier PXR/W/Z series controllers, which simplifies a drop-in swap without rewiring the field termination. Control output is a single SPDT relay contact, rated for switching heater contactors or solenoid valves directly in the panel.
Power and programming
Powered from standard 100-240V AC, 50/60Hz line voltage — no separate 24V supply needed, which saves a DIN-rail power supply slot in the enclosure. Programming is pre-configured for North American Code, meaning the parameter set and units (Fahrenheit, thermocouple types common in US markets) are set at the factory for that region. The 1/16 DIN socket-type body clips into a standard 48x48mm panel cutout; the socket stays in the panel if the controller needs to be pulled for service.
