What it is and what it does
The Fuji Electric PXF5ACY2-FVGA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96 mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. The 50 ms sampling rate means it updates the control output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal processes like extrusion, packaging heat-seal, or oven zones where overshoot needs to be caught quickly. Self-tuning autotunes the PID loop on startup, so you don't have to manually calculate gains for a new thermal load.
Mounting and integration
1/8 DIN cutout (48 x 96 mm) is the standard panel-mount footprint — drops into the same hole as a Fuji PXF4 or legacy PXG controllers, so a panel retrofit doesn't require re-cutting the gland plate. Compact depth behind the panel frees DIN-rail space for the SSR or contactor bank.
