The PXF5ACY2-JBHA1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50ms sampling speed — fast enough to catch thermal transients in injection molding or packaging seal bars without overshoot hunting.
What the 50ms sampling buys you
A 50ms sampling period means the controller updates its PID output every 50 milliseconds — roughly 20 updates per second. That resolves fast-changing processes (thin-film extrusion, high-speed packaging) where a 100ms or 250ms controller would lag and overshoot. The self-tuning algorithm auto-calculates P, I, and D gains on first run, so commissioning doesn't require a loop-tuning session.
The 1/8 DIN (48 x 96mm) cutout is a standard panel-mount footprint — fits existing punch-outs without adapter plates. Depth is compact enough for shallow enclosures. Wiring terminates on a rear screw-terminal block; no special tooling required.
