What it is and what it does
The PXF5ACY2-JV1A1 is a self-tuning 1/8 DIN (48 x 96 mm) compact temperature and process controller from Fuji Electric. Its 50 ms sampling speed means the control loop updates every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for thermal processes like injection molding, extrusion, or packaging seal bars where overshoot and settling time matter. The self-tuning algorithm automatically sets PID parameters on startup, cutting commissioning time on a new line or after a thermocouple swap.
Panel integration fit
The 1/8 DIN cutout (48 x 96 mm) is a standard panel-mount size — fits existing DIN-rail adapter or panel gland plate without rework. The compact depth leaves room behind the door for wiring and isolation relays. For a panel OEM wireman, the 50 ms sampling is deterministic enough for closed-loop control on a conveyor oven or a reflow tunnel; no jitter in the loop.
