The PXF9ABA2-FV1A1 is a self-tuning 1/4 DIN (96 x 96 mm) compact temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. The 50 ms update rate means it can track fast thermal transients in injection molding or packaging seal-bar applications where a 100 ms or 200 ms controller would miss the peak.
What the 50 ms sampling buys you
A 50 ms sampling speed corresponds to a 20 Hz effective loop rate. For a thermocouple or RTD input, this is fast enough to control a gas-fired oven zone or a hot-runner nozzle without overshoot, but it is not a high-speed process controller — you would not use it for a 10 ms infrared heater cycle.
