On a line running thin-film extrusion or pharmaceutical packaging, that means the controller reaches steady state faster than a manually tuned unit, reducing scrap during startup.
Panel cutout and physical fit
1/4 DIN (96 x 96 mm) face — the standard cutout is 92 x 92 mm per DIN 43700. The controller slides into the panel from the front and clamps with the included brackets. No DIN rail; this is a panel-mount instrument, so the enclosure depth behind the cutout needs to accommodate the case body plus wiring clearance. Compact depth for a 1/4 DIN unit — the case body extends roughly 100 mm behind the panel face, which fits most standard control cabinet backplates without interfering with the DIN-rail terminal blocks behind it.
