50 ms sampling — what it buys you
The PXF9ACA2-FVVA1: The 50 ms sampling speed means this controller updates its output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough to catch thermal transients in injection molding, extrusion, or packaging seal bars where a slower 100–200 ms loop would let the temperature overshoot before the PID correction arrives. Self-tuning eliminates manual PID gain scheduling on startup: the controller runs an autotune cycle, measures the process response, and sets P, I, and D terms. For a panel builder wiring up a new oven zone, that saves the hour of step-response testing per loop.
Panel fit — 1/4 DIN footprint
The 96 x 96 mm cutout (1/4 DIN per IEC 61554) is the standard panel-mount size for process controllers — fits the same hole as an Omron E5CC or Yokogawa UT35A, so a swap-in replacement doesn't require re-punching the gland plate. At 96 mm depth behind the panel, the controller clears most 120 mm-deep enclosures without a right-angle adapter. Leave 50 mm clearance above and below for wiring duct and terminal blocks.
Lifecycle stage is listed as current — Fuji Electric has not issued a phase-out notice or last-time-buy for this order code. For a BOM freeze, that means no imminent PCN risk. Sourced to order against the BOM quantity through independent distribution.
