50 ms sampling — what it buys you in a thermal loop
The PXF9APA2-JVCA1 samples the input every 50 ms. That is fast enough to catch temperature swings in injection molding barrels or extrusion zones where a 100 ms update lets a 5 °C overshoot pass uncaught. The self-tuning algorithm adapts PID gains on the fly, so you do not have to babysit the autotune cycle on start-up.
Panel fit — 1/4 DIN constraints
The 96 x 96 mm cutout is the standard 1/4 DIN footprint. It drops into existing panel holes without adapter plates. The 50 ms sample rate does not degrade with longer thermocouple runs — the input conditioning handles the noise. Shield the thermocouple wire anyway; the controller can only work with the signal it gets.
