The PXF9APC2-JBCA1: It's a 1/4 DIN (96 x 96 mm) compact controller, self-tuning, with a 50 ms sampling speed. That sampling rate catches fast thermal transients in processes like injection molding or furnace zones where a slower loop would let the temperature overshoot.
What the sampling speed means on the floor
50 ms sampling means the controller updates its PID output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most plastic extrusion or packaging heat-seal bars. If you're swapping an older unit with a 200 ms scan, this one will respond tighter and may need the PID gains re-tuned.
