50 ms sampling and self-tuning for thermal process control
The PXF9APC2-JVVA1 samples the process variable every 50 ms — fast enough to catch thermal transients in injection molding, extrusion, or packaging seal bars where a slower loop would overshoot the setpoint. Self-tuning means the controller auto-calculates PID parameters on the first heat-up, saving the commissioning engineer the iterative Ziegler-Nichols step. For a panel builder wiring a dozen zones, that is one less variable to tune per channel.
1/4 DIN footprint for panel retrofit
The 96 x 96 mm cutout matches the standard 1/4 DIN form factor — it drops into the same panel hole as older Fuji PXF or competing brand controllers without re-punching the gland plate. Compact depth behind the panel leaves room for the terminal blocks and wiring duct; the controller does not force a deeper enclosure than the existing install.
Sourcing and lifecycle — active production, quoted to order
Lifecycle stage is listed as current — Fuji Electric has not flagged this PXF9 series for phase-out or last-time-buy. That means the BOM line is stable for new builds and MRO spares alike. No stock-holding claim — each order is quoted to the BOM line.
