The PXF9APE2-0BMA1: The 50 ms sampling speed means the controller updates its PID output every 50 milliseconds — fast enough to catch thermal transients in processes with short time constants, like injection mold temperature control or packaging heat-seal bars. Slower controllers (100–200 ms) can miss the overshoot peak and let the process oscillate.
Self-tuning and panel fit
Self-tuning means the controller auto-calculates PID gains during startup — no manual Ziegler-Nichols step test. The 1/4 DIN (96 x 96 mm) cutout is the standard panel-mount footprint; it drops into the same hole as any other 1/4 DIN controller, so a panel rework is not needed when swapping brands.
