What the 50ms sampling buys you in a process loop
The PXF9APE2-FVVA1: Its 50ms sampling speed means the control loop updates every 50 milliseconds — fast enough to catch thermal transients in injection molding or packaging seal bars before the process drifts. The self-tuning algorithm auto-calculates PID coefficients during startup, so you skip the manual Ziegler-Nichols trial on the first run. On a line-down restart, that saves the half-hour tuning exercise.

Panel fit and signal integrity
1/4 DIN (96 x 96mm) panel cutout — the standard form factor for temperature controllers. The depth behind the panel is compact enough for shallow enclosures, but leave clearance for the screw-terminal block and any optional communications module. The 50ms sampling is fast enough that noise on the thermocouple input (from a nearby VFD or contactor arc) can alias into the loop. Keep the sensor cable shielded and the shield grounded at the controller end — it's noise till proven otherwise.
