What the 50 ms sampling means for your loop
The PXF9APE2-JVMA1 is a self-tuning 1/4 DIN (96 x 96 mm) temperature and process controller with a 50 ms sampling speed. That sampling rate is fast enough to catch thermal transients in injection molding, extrusion, or packaging seal bars where a standard 100–250 ms controller would miss the overshoot peak. The 1/4 DIN form factor fits the standard 96 x 96 mm panel cutout, so it drops into existing cutouts without rework. The self-tuning algorithm means the PID gains are set automatically on first run — no manual step-response tuning for a replacement unit.
