Self-tuning and sampling rate
The self-tuning algorithm on the PXF9APP2-0VCA1 auto-adjusts PID parameters during startup or on process upset, eliminating manual loop tuning for most thermal processes — injection molding barrels, reflow ovens, or packaging seal bars where the load time constant shifts with product changeovers. 50 ms sampling means the controller reads the input and updates the output every 50 ms — fast enough for electric heater control with thermocouple response times around 100–300 ms, but not suited for pressure or flow loops that need sub-millisecond updates.
