96×96 mm face, 50 ms loop — fast enough for thermal profiling
The PXF9APS2-0BVA1 is a 1/4 DIN (96×96 mm) panel-mount controller — the standard cutout for retrofit into existing control panels without enlarging the opening. The 50 ms sampling speed means it reads the thermocouple or RTD input every 50 milliseconds, which is fast enough for thermal profiling in reflow ovens, extrusion barrel zones, or packaging seal bars where the process time constant is under a few seconds. Slower controllers (250 ms or 500 ms) would alias the temperature ripple in those applications. Self-tuning means the controller automatically calculates PID coefficients during the first heat-up cycle — no manual Ziegler-Nichols step test required. For a line changeover or a new tool, this cuts commissioning time down to one ramp cycle.
