Panel fit and loop speed
The PXF9APS2-JBCA1 is a 1/4 DIN (96 x 96mm) panel-mount controller — the standard cutout is 92x92mm, so it drops into any existing 1/4 DIN panel opening without adapter plates. Sampling speed is 50ms, which means the PID loop updates every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for thermal processes like extrusion barrel zones or reflow ovens, but not for sub-cycle heater control on a 60 Hz line. Self-tuning algorithm auto-calculates PID gains on startup or on a process upset, so you don't need to run a manual Ziegler-Nichols step test — it converges during normal operation.
