The PXF9APY2-JBCA1: With a 50ms sampling speed, the controller updates the PID loop every 50 milliseconds — fast enough for most thermal processes (ovens, furnaces, extruder zones) but not for sub-10ms thermal transients like injection mold cavity control. The self-tuning algorithm auto-configures the PID constants on startup or on a process upset, saving the commissioning engineer a manual Zeigler-Nichols iteration.
