50 ms loop speed for fast thermal processes
The PXF9APY2-MBCA1 samples at 50 ms — that's fast enough to catch thermal overshoot in injection molding barrel zones or packaging seal bars where a slower controller lets the temperature drift past the setpoint before the PID loop corrects. Self-tuning means the autotune routine runs on first power-up or on demand, setting the PID coefficients without a manual step-response test. For a line-down swap, that saves the half-hour tuning iteration.
1/4 DIN panel fit — standard cutout, no surprises
The 96 x 96mm face matches the standard 1/4 DIN cutout (92 x 92mm panel opening per IEC 61554). It drops into the same hole as an Omron E5CC or Yokogawa UT35A without enlarging the panel — useful for a retrofit where the existing cutout is already punched. Compact depth behind the panel leaves room for the backplane wiring duct; the controller does not force a deeper enclosure than the existing DIN rail layout.
