Controller Overview
The Fuji Electric PXR3-TAC2-4BTA1 is an advanced, self-tuning 1/32 DIN temperature and process controller that supports up to 16 ramp and soak segments for multi-step thermal profiling.
The 1/32 DIN form factor (48 x 24 mm panel cutout) fits tight panel layouts where space is at a premium — common in packaging machines, lab ovens, and small process skids where a full 1/16 or 1/4 DIN controller would crowd the door. The self-tuning algorithm automatically adjusts PID parameters during initial heat-up, so the integrator doesn't need to manually calculate tuning constants for most thermal loads — useful when the same controller model is used across multiple oven or bath sizes. Sixteen ramp/soak segments allow the controller to execute a programmed thermal profile (e.g., ramp to 200°C, soak 30 minutes, ramp to 150°C, soak 15 minutes) without an external PLC or sequencer — a time-saver for batch processes and cure cycles.
