Lifecycle status and procurement posture
The GT1045-QSBD: If a replacement is needed, a parametric search within the GOT1000 family for a similar display size and resolution (QVGA 320 x 240 dots, 4.7 type) is the starting point, but pin-compatibility is not guaranteed without a board-level review.
Display and operator interface specifications
The 4.7-type STN color LCD delivers QVGA resolution (320 x 240 dots) in 256 colors, with a White LED backlight rated for no replacement over the unit's service life. LCD brightness is 150 cd/m², and the viewing angle spans 50 degrees left and right, 40 degrees up, and 70 degrees down when displayed horizontally — sufficient for panel-mount installations where the operator stands directly in front. Minimum key size is 16 x 16 dots per key, which sets the touch-target density for screen layouts. The buzzer output is a single tone with adjustable long/short duration or can be disabled entirely.
Memory, backup, and communication ports
Onboard SRAM capacity is 128 KB, and the unit accepts a GT10-50FMB type memory board for expansion. Backup targets include clock data, alarm history, recipe data, and time action setting values, powered by a GT11-50BAT lithium battery with a typical lifespan of about 5 years at 25 °C ambient. Communication interfaces include one RS-232 channel and one USB device channel (USB Mini-B connector). The RS-232 port supports transmission rates from 4800 to 115200 bps, configurable per the connected PLC or controller.
Environmental and electrical ratings for panel fit
Operating temperature is 0 to 55 °C in horizontal mounting, derated to 0 to 50 °C in vertical orientation. The unit is self-cooling (no fan), rated for pollution degree 2 or less, and must be installed at an elevation of 2000 m or less. Use atmosphere excludes oil smoke, corrosive gas, flammable gas, and conductive dust; direct sunlight during storage is also excluded. Withstand voltage is AC 500 V for 1 minute between the power terminal package and ground. Grounding must be D class (100 Ω or less), with provision for connection to the board when chassis grounding is not possible. Inrush current is 15 A or less at 2 ms maximum load. Shock resistance conforms to JIS B 3502 and IEC 61131-2 at 147 m/s², three times each in X, Y, and Z directions with an 11 ms pulse. Vibration tolerance is 4.9 m/s² over 8.4 to 150 Hz. Noise tolerance is tested by noise simulator at 1000 Vp-p, 1 μs width, 30 to 100 Hz.
