The Omron E2E-X7D1-M1J 0.3M is a shielded inductive proximity sensor from the E2E/E2E NEXT series, with a 7 mm sensing range and DC 2-wire normally open output. It comes pre-wired with a 0.3 meter PVC cable terminated to an M12 connector — the same compact package that fits standard prox mounts on machine tool or conveyor frames.
DC 2-wire simplifies wiring: load and supply in series, same pair. The shielded housing allows flush mounting in steel without derating the 7 mm range. Normally open (NO) operation pulls the output low when the target enters the field.
