Integration Notes
Mount the sensor flush in steel because it is shielded. The 2 mm sensing range applies to both ferrous and non-ferrous targets, so no derating is needed when switching between aluminum and steel targets. The 5 m PVC cable provides generous reach to the control cabinet. The PNP output sources current; ensure the load returns to ground. The complementary NO+NC outputs allow fail-safe wiring without external inverters. The IP67 rating is valid when the cable entry is properly sealed and the mounting nut is torqued per the manufacturer specification.
