The Omron E5CC-QX0AUM-000 is a 1/16 DIN process and temperature controller from the E5CC series, accepting RTD, thermocouple types B, E, J, K, L, N, PLII, R, S, T, U, W, plus 0-20mA and 0-10VDC analog inputs. Its voltage output drives an external solid-state relay (SSR), making it a clean fit for electric heater or oven control where the SSR handles the load current and the controller provides the logic-level gate signal. The dual-color LCD backlight shows two rows of four characters each — the upper row 0.600" (15.20 mm) tall, the lower 0.280" (7.10 mm) — so setpoint and process value are readable from a few feet away on a panel. Control and wiring
Control method is selectable between On/Off and proportional (PID). The PID autotune routine identifies process characteristics and sets gains automatically — no manual loop-tuning required for most thermal processes. The 11-pin octal base (plug-in termination) means the controller can be swapped without disturbing field wiring; keep a spare base wired in the panel and the swap takes under a minute. Supply is 100-240VAC, so it runs directly on line voltage without an external power supply.
